• Vail is not only a winter travel destination – the city has major events that occur all year round.
• Do not forget to prepare for the increase in elevation (and crowds if you visit during the high season).

Vail is famous for skiing, but it’s much more than a simple winter destination.

You don’t have to ski to take advantage of Vail – the city also has wonderful spas, lodges and shops. I live in Denver and I travel about two hours drive for Vail at least once a month to ski or attend one of its fun events all year round.
