Cleveland, Ohio – After checking with some of my NBA contacts (not with the Cavs), here is what I heard about Cavs Draft Pick Tyrese Proctor:
He is an NBA type shooter: As a scout told me, it should be an excellent adjustment as “capture guy” playing in the same rear area as Darius Garland or Donovan Mitchell. He pulled 45% in the field, 41% on shots at 3 points. But Proctor can also connect to 3 -point (41%) of the dribbling pull -ups. The Cavs do not need him to be an elite shooting creator. They already have several.
