As the Lok Sabha elections are only a week old, the fervor of the survey has reached a fever field across the country. India leads the general elections in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, with the declaration of results on June 4.
The Maharashtra is crucial for any political party because it plays a major role in the formation of the political narrative. The western state sends the second largest number of deputies to the lower room of Parliament at 48 years old, after Uttar Pradesh (80).

The Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats, five of which are reserved for the planned candidates of the Caste (SC) and four for the prolonged tribe candidates (ST).
The remaining 39 seats are not reserved.
Under the MVA seats sharing formula, Shiv Sena (UBT) will appear from 21 seats, Congress 17 and the PCN (Sharadchandra Pawar) on 10. The MAHAYUTI alliance has not yet finalized an agreement of Sharing seats.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Sabha polls, the BJP won 23 seats and the Sena SHIV, then individual, obtained 18 years old. The undivided NCP led by Sharad Pawar obtained four while the Congress and the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) managed to win a seat each. He has been presenting himself again from the headquarters. The candidate of the Mahayuti Alliance de Mumbai South is not yet known.
Nagpur: The Minister of Union, Nitin Gadkari, again fights from Nagpur on the symbol of the BJP. The City, which houses the headquarters of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and is also the original lawn of the deputy minister in chief of Maharashtra, became Fadnavis, was once a bastion of Vilas Muttemwar of the Congress, according to a CNBC report.
However, Nitin Gadkari put the seat in 2014 and again in the Lok Sabha 2019 polls. The congress gave a ticket to his deputy for Nagpur West Vikas Thakre in the constituency.
Nashik: Rajabhau Waje will enter the fray of the siege of Nashik Lok Sabha on a Shiv Sena ticket (UBT). The constituency has become a thorny thorn for the Mahayuti power alliance who has not yet declared a candidate for the siege.
Hemant Godse by Shiv Sena (Faction Shinde) is the deputy in office. The tensions had broken out among Mahayuti voters last month after the son of the chief minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, Shrikant had announced Godse as a party candidate for the siege.
The NCP (Ajit Pawar Faction) also said the seat, leading to an impasse in the seats sharing talks.
Kalyan: The son of the Maharashtra CM, Shrikant Shinde, will be in the headquarters of Kalyan Lok Sabha. He won the headquarters in the 2014 Lok Sabha and 2019 polls on the Shiv Sena ticket then individual. The Junior Shinde will face Vaishali Darekar-Rane de Shiv Sena (UBT) from the leading headquarters.
Amravati: The constituency of Amravati Lok Sabha in the west of Vidarbha has never elected candidate for the BJP since his training in 1951. However, the BJP hopes to change this with his candidate Navneet Kaur Rana. She won the headquarters in 2019 as an independent candidate. Rana, who fights on the BJP symbol, will face Balwant Basawant Wankhede and Sanjay Gadge from the Bahujan Samaj (BSP) party.
Bhandara-Gondia, Beed, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg and Nanded are some other key constituencies to monitor.
Maharashtra Lok Sabha pumps: Key problems
The Maratha reserve could be a survey subject in the Lok Sabha elections, according to PTI. The question of the quota for Marathas in education and government jobs was revived in the state after the chief of Maratha Kranti Morcha, Manoj Jarange-Patil, made an indefinite hunger strike last August.
After demonstrations, the government of the Maharashtra decided to grant a 10% reserve to the Maratha community in the category of socially and economically backward classes (SEBC). The provision was challenged before the High Court of Bombay, with one of the petitioners arguing that the community does not need a reservation because it does not qualify as a backward class, The Hindus reported.
Farmers’ problems can also decide the fate of candidates. While the management coalition will highlight its programs for farmers, the opposition has tried to wedge the government on farmers’ suicides and accused it of not ensuring an adequate MSP for cultures, Pti reported.
Infrastructure projects with large tickets could also appear in the polls. The Mahayuti in power is likely to raise fully or partially completed projects such as the 701 km highway from Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi, Mumbai Trans Herbor (MTHL), Mumbai Coastal Road and Metro projects, launched during its mandate.
The Kickstart de Vande Bharat Trains de Mumbai in Shirdi, Solapur and Jalna can also be used as a ballot by the power alliance.
Prediction of opinion survey
According to News18 The Mega opinion poll, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the BJP (NDA) is about to put 41 seats out of 48 out of 48, with a 48%vote.
The Indian block could win seven seats with a 34%vote.
