That’s all for tonight, goodbye!
Wolves remain 12th in the Premier League after that result and will host Brighton next weekend. Meanwhile, West Brom remain 19th and engulfed in the relegation zone with a trip to Arsenal up next.
The Black Country derby finishes in a 1-1 draw which does no favours for West Brom who look all but certain to be relegated down into the Championship now. A goal on the stroke of half time from Fabio Silva was cancelled out by a brilliant header by Diagne just after the hour mark. West Brom fought with everything they had but it wasn’t enough to get a late winner and take all three points.
90′ + 4′ FULL TIME: West Brom 1-1 Wolves
90′ + 2′ West Brom have a late free-kick. Is this there chance to win it late on?
90′ There will be three additional minutes to be played at the end of this half.
88′ Furlong is booked after a late challenge on Podence.
87′ Gibbs-White wins the ball back and feeds Neves, but the midfielder can’t find Podence with the through ball and it skids out of play.
84′ West Brom waste the free-kick as they try to work something clever between Pereira and Furlong. Just over five minutes to go in this game now, can West Brom find a late winner?
82′ Kilman replaces Ait Nouri as Wolves make their final change of the game. Ait Nouri looked to have picked up a knock on his left knee before being replaced.
82′ Yokuslu wins a free-kick in a dangerous area on the edge of the Wolves penalty box. Pereira hit the bar from a similar position against Aston Villa and he’ll be the man to take this.
80′ Gibbs-White replaces Vitinha as Wolves make their second change of the match.
80′ Ajayi makes a vital block at the near post to clear Vitinha’s low cross into the box. That was desperate defending for the Baggies who are holding on so far.
79′ The rain has returned even heavier than before. There’s just over ten minutes to be played in this match and possibly only ten minutes left for West Brom to keep their survival hopes alive.
78′ Maitland-Niles is the second player for West Brom to be replaced as Callum Robinson enters the field of play. Albion are going for it.
75′ Yokuslu tries an effort from distance but it’s high and wide of the Wolves goal. That was poor from the midfielder and Sam Allardyce is absolutely livid with him as well.
72′ Traore has now moved over to the right wing after Podence’s introduction. It could be a smart move by the Wolves manager as Townsend is looking a little bit tired on the West Brom left side and Traore will make it so difficult for him to defend.
71′ Otasowie is the first player to be replaced for Wolves as Podence comes on for the final 20 minutes.
69′ Maitland-Niles picks up the first booking of the game after hauling Traore down to the ground as the Spaniard looked to race away on the counter attack.
68′ Fabio Silva tries to turn on the edge of the West Brom penalty box, feeds the ball to Vitinha but Bartley is there to intercept and drive out of defence, pushing his team up the pitch as they search for a goal to take the lead.
65′ Johnstone collects the ball from a dangerous cross and releases it straight upfield for Pereira on the counter, but Coady is there to stop the danger.
62′ GOALLLL! DIAGNE EQUALISES! That’s his third of the season for the Baggies and what a vital goal that could be! Diagne drifts into the box, leaves his marker and fires in a powerful header from close range. Albion have been threatening since the restart and get their reward with that goal. 1-1.
62′ Townsend drives forward into space, receives the ball from Maitland-Niles and whips in a brilliant ball right on to Diagne’s head. It had to be a perfect cross in the poor weather conditions today. The ball flies over Saiss and right to the big striker who nods home to level the score.
61′ Johnstone does so well to get down to his left and parry a powerful effort from Fabio Silva wide of the target for a corner kick.
59′ The response from the home side this half has been brilliant. They’re really taking the game to Wolves so far this half and fighting for their Premier League survival.
56′ INCREDIBLE SAVE! Patricio denies Gallagher this time with a sprawling save across his line but Gallagher has to score that!
55′ GOOD SAVE! Pereira picks up possession and drives towards goal before feeding Townsend, the full back shoots but it’s straight at Patricio who forces the ball behind for a corner.
53′ Vitinha plays the ball into Traore but he’s offside. It’s poor from Traore who was looking across the entire Baggies’ defensive line there.
50′ The rain has stopped during the break but the wind is still playing a massive factor in this game. Meanwhile, the Wolves bench is up in arms at a decision that went against Fabio Silva after a soft foul on Townsend was given.
48′ Wolves are yet to lose a Premier League game this season when scoring first (8 wins, 1 draw).
46′ We’re back underway. There’s been a change in referee as Paul Tierney is replaced by Mike Dean after an injury.
As things stand, Wolves remain 12th in the table whilst West Brom will be all but relegated from the Premier League barring a miracle. It’s a massive second half for the Baggies coming up next as they have 45 minutes to keep their hopes of staying in the league alive.
Both sides have had spells of pressure in the first half but a massive slice of luck for Wolves on the stroke of half time sees them take the lead through a deflected shot from Fabio Silva. The switch in formation and early change from West Brom worked well for them, yet they still find themselves 1-0 down. They need a big second half performance if they’re to have any hope of staying in the top flight.
45′ + 2′ HALF TIME: West Brom 0-1 Wolves.
45′ + 2′ GOALLLL! FABIO SILVA WITH THE GOAL! Otasowie drifts inside from the wing, plays the ball into Vitinha who flicks it to Semedo as the defender slides it through for the striker. Fabio Silva strikes the ball and it loops up off of Bartley and over Johnstone into the back of the net. It’s so unlucky for the home side but Wolves have the lead going into the break.
45′ There will be two additional minutes to play at the end of the first half.
42′ OFF THE LINE! Diagne heads the ball towards goal from a corner but Saiss is there to clear off the line! How vital could that be in the race for survival from West Brom’s perspective! West Brom are continuing to push for a late goal in this half.
39′ Fabio Silva is running his socks off up front for the away side, trying to link the play up with Vitinha and press the opposition defence. Still no breakthrough for either side so far as we enter the final five minutes of the half.
36′ It looks as though Neves is able to continue, at least for the rest of the first half which will be a welcome sight for Nuno Espirito Santo and Wolves fans.
34′ Neves is down hurt in the middle of the pitch. It looks as though Pereira made contact with Neves on his knee.
33′ An early change from West Brom sees O’Shea replaced by Phillips. It looks as though the home side are making a tactical change. It is needed after Wolves have had a brilliant 15 minutes. Both sides are now matching each other with their formation.
33′ UNLUCKY! This time Vitinha tries a shot from distance and Johnstone paws it clear of the target as the wind caused the ball to dip and swerve in the air.
31′ BIG SAVE! Semedo sneaks in to take the ball off Ajayi on the edge of the West Brom penalty box, the Portuguese man drifts past Bartley and fires a shot at goal but Johnstone matches the shot with a fantastic save to tip the ball over the bar. West Brom are living very dangerously now.
28′ Ait Nouri drives forward yet again but his shot from distance is poor and easy for Johnstone to hold on to. Wolves are beginning to turn the screw and create a few more clear chances in this game after a cagey opening 25 minutes.
25′ Wolves are being very patient in possession trying to work an opportunity but West Brom are working hard to keep their shape and restricting the away side to shots from distance.
22′ Pereira lifts the ball in towards the back post but Traore does so well to defend and just put Ajayi off balance as he attacked the ball. Wolves regain possession of the ball once again.
20′ Semedo is penalised for handball on the edge of his box and West Brom have themselves a free-kick in a dangerous position.
18′ Pereira is really running the show in this West Brom side, drifting into nice spaces between the lines and keeping the ball moving for the home side. If the Baggies do go down, Pereira may not be there with them next season.
16′ Ait Nouri goes on a brilliant run from his own half and drives his way into the Baggies’ box but his shot is blocked well by Ajayi. That was too easy for the Wolves defender to drift through midfield and into the box.
13′ Diagne picks out Furlong on the edge of the box after some nice play but the defender’s shot is low and wide of the goal.
10′ Furlong wins a corner but the resulting delivery is a poor one and it’s comfortable for Patricio to come and collect that one.
7′ Furlong gets in Pereira’s way and the defenders shot is wide of the target. It’s not just the rain causing havoc so far but the wind as well.
5′ It looks as though Wolves have started in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Otasowie is playing wide on the right with Traore on the opposite flank. Saiss and Coady are at the heart of the defence with Neves and Dendoncker shielding them. Semedo and Ait Nouri are the wing backs with Vitinha playing behind Fabio Silva.
3′ It’s absolutely tipping it down with rain allowing the ball to zip around the surface quickly. Saiss tries to lob the ball forward and Ajayi gives away a cheap free-kick after a foul on Vitinha.
1′ We’re underway at The Hawthorns.
The teams are in the tunnel and we’re just moments away from kick off at The Hawthorns.
The home side tonight ran out 3-2 winners in the reverse fixture at Molineux and desperately need a repeat of that tonight as their Premier League survival hopes hang in the balance.
Nuno Espirito Santo makes two changes to the side that was demolished 4-0 by Burnley as Willy Boly and Podence are replaced by Otasowie and Vitinha.
