Wendy Williams’ family is reportedly looking for a “esteemed and honest” lawyer to help the former radio and television personality in her conservatorship battle. Especially after Williams claimed she never met with her conservatorship attorney, Robert Kaplan, who recently said she would need care for the rest of her life due to her diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and of aphasia.

“The family of Wendy Williams wishes to address the current circumstances surrounding her conservatorship and her ongoing journey toward reclaiming her self-determination,” the family said in a statement, per Daily Mail.
