The woman who was killed by the Los Angeles police service in her backyard Eagle Rock during a manhunt for a shortlift was identified as Jillian Shriner, American author and wife of Weezer’s bassist, Scott Shriner.
Shriner, 51, was transported to hospital after suffering a deadly shot injury on Tuesday afternoon, according to Los Angeles police. She was absent reserved, suspected of attempted murder, after the police said that she had pointed her handgun against the police and has repeatedly ignored orders to lay down the weapon.
The shooting took place shortly after 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, when California Highway Patrol asked for the help of the LAPD to find three suspects who fled the scene on the highway 134.
The police arrested on Tuesday in Eagle Rock.

The police were directed to the back of a residence in the block of 5,300 cents of Waldo Place, where one of the suspects was seen in the course of execution. There, the police saw Shriner standing in the backyard of a neighboring property with his drawn handgun, the police said.
According to CBS News reports, Shriner had opened fire after seeing the suspect on his property.
Shriner fled to his residence after being killed by the police. She then left the property and was detained before being transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles fire service, police said.
Police said police had determined later that she was a resident at home and was not involved in the flight offense incident.
The California Highway Patrol on Tuesday stopped the alleged driver of flight offense around 4:20 p.m., according to the spokesman for the agency Daniel Keene. He was found only carrying his boxers in the backyard of a house near the Shriner residence.
The man was seen by news helicopters removing his clothes, jumping in the pool and sprinkling the plants in what seemed to be an attempt to blend into the neighborhood, according to Ktla. His identity has not been released.

The other two suspects who fled the offense of flight are still free, the police said. The collision involved three vehicles and sent a victim to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The police recovered a 9 -millimeter handgun at Shriner’s home. The police shootout is the subject of an investigation by the Division of LAPD forces. No additional officer or civilian was injured during the incident, police said.
