Jillian Shriner, the wife of the bassist of Weezer Scott Shriner, was killed by LAPD and arrested Tuesday for attempted murder during a search for a suspect of flight.
Tuesday afternoon, looking for a house in the Eagle Rock district of Los Angeles, the authorities spotted Jillian Shriner in the courtyard before his house, located next to it, holding a pistol. The police asked her to drop the weapon several times, but she refused, the turning point rather on the police, according to the LAPD report on the incident. LAPD then opened the fire and it was hit on the shoulder. No officer or public member was injured during the incident, according to the LAPD report.
After being killed, Jillian Shriner ran inside his house, later re-emerging with his baby-sitter, according to local reports. She was then placed in police custody and brought to a local hospital to be treated for the ball injury, which, according to the police, did not threaten her life.
The LAPD said Jillian Shriner had nothing to do with the offense of flight, and was then reserved for attempted murder. A 9 -millimeter handgun has been recovered from the House of Shriners, according to LAPD.
