Weapon-wielding migrants brawl in broad daylight outside NYC hotel in wild video

Crowds of rowdy migrants engaged in an all-out brawl outside a Midtown hotel, swinging batons, belts and even traffic cones during the violent melee in broad daylight, shocking new video reports.

At least a dozen asylum seekers clashed Sunday afternoon outside The Row hotel on Eighth Avenue, with one out-of-control migrant brandishing a bat threateningly at the crowd before one of the fighters was taken to the ground and hit by four others. images published on X shows.

At least two men wear bicycle helmets as the two sides face off in the middle of the street. even as motorists parade amid the brawl.

At one point, one of the violent migrants comes up behind one of them and hits him in the head, knocking off his helmet before running back down Eighth Avenue, the video shows.

It’s unclear what exactly sparked the fight, and the New York Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Row is one of dozens of hotels and shelters converted to accommodate asylum seekers streaming into the Big Apple from the U.S. border with Mexico.

More than 190,000 migrants have arrived in the Big Apple since the influx began in spring 2022, including more than 64,000 currently housed in urban shelters.

Some migrant hotbeds have seen violence in recent months, including a fight between illegal vendors in Jackson Heights and cops trying to break up an illegal open-air market.

In January, a migrant was stabbed to death during a violent attack on a huge tent city erected on Randall Island to handle the influx of asylum seekers.

Last month, Mayor Eric Adams imposed a curfew on several mass migrant shelter sites.
