Alphabet Waymo sells a miniature scale model of its Robotaxi Jaguar I-Pace Blanc, which has become an element of urban motorways in California.
Unfortunately, it is not available for sale – unless you work for Waymo.
The miniature model is only one of the exclusive goods that Waymo sells in its internal store for employees, according to Sophia Tung, a content designer focused on autonomous vehicles, who told Business Insider that she had bought several other items through a business friend.
A Waymo spokesperson confirmed the existence of the store at Business Insider.
This waymo has a store reserved for employees is not unique for the company, especially in the world of technology. However, it is only so often that products of products technology focus on lending the type of physical physics, Tung, a former software engineer at Twitter, told Bi.
“Twitter had one, but it was somehow boring. There was nothing cool,” she said. “I have the impression that if you ship a physical product like Waymo, there are more opportunities for it to look good.”
According to Tung and the screenshots of the employees’ website that she shared with Bi, the store also sells brand clothes, including Grenouillères. Some go beyond the usual technological merchant, such as a slapped corporate logo on a t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt.

Some of the Waymo t-shirts and jackets, for example, have a cartoon version of its Robotaxis. Other clothes become more creative, such as a shirt reminiscent of the canvases with four Andy Warhol panels.

There are also enamel pins, cups, hats and beach towels, according to Tung.
“I really only had the things that looked more like design and interesting,” she said, adding that she thought that the clothes she had bought did not immediately look like the company.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the Mini Waymo because, which, according to Tung, is a 1:43 scale of the Jaguar I-Pace.
Tung said the model seems to be manufactured by miniatures tower based on the packaging. The company manufactures small -scale car models for OEMs, according to its website.
A TSM spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comments.

With Waymo’s partnership with other OEMs for the future configurations of its Robotaxie, including the Hyundai Zeekr and China, Tung said that it hoped that Waymo will continue to make small -scale versions of its cars.
“I want to recover them all,” she said.
