Yuki Tsunoda saw his qualification session at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix arrive early after having undergone a dramatic accident during the first trimester which led the red flags.
Tsunoda had tried to put an initial tour while driving the Red Bull when he lost the back of the car towards Tour 6 before turning in the high -speed gravel.

The RB21 of the Japanese driver then turned back as it struck the tire barriers, which made him bounce back in the gravel and become standing again. Fortunately, Tsunoda moved away from his vehicle, but the car seemed to have suffered significant damage following the impact.
