Battlefield Studios is officially revealing the first post-launch season of Battlefield 6 today. We’re getting a trailer for Season 1, some of which we’ve technically known about for a while.
Today, however, we will bring a first look at one of the new cards arriving with the new season.

Season 1 is expected to launch on October 28 in Battlefield 6. The season is divided into three stages, the first of which – Rogue operations – is the one that will come into play next week. Each release will bring new content to the game on a near-monthly basis, with each season seemingly taking place over different phases.
The most expensive item in this first step is, of course, the new Blackwell Fields map, which today’s trailer will show off for the first time – if you don’t count the Battlefield Labs leaks, as the map has been part of Labs testing for some time now.
Blackwell Fields is a large-scale map that includes ground and air vehicles. The action takes place at an air base in California, where large parts of the map are on fire – true to the nature of the state.

Rogue Ops will also add a new mode seemingly inspired by Call of Duty’s Counter-Strike/Search and Destroy. It’s called Strikepoint, and it’s a 4v4 affair with only one life. Aside from maps and modes, BF6 is also getting a new carbine – the SOR-300, a new sniper rifle – the Mini Fix, as well as a new handgun – the GGH-22, as part of the new season.
There is also a new APC that will join the game’s existing vehicle roster. Finally, you can expect two new accessories in this initial phase: the Rail Cover and the Low Power Variable Optics (LPVO).
