Paris Hilton, 43, testified this week at a meeting of the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee about mistreatment in youth residential treatment centers. She shared her horrific personal experiences of abuse during a hearing on “Strengthening Child Welfare and Protecting America’s Children.” In recent years, Hilton has advocated for needed reforms in the residential treatment center industry.
