Watch NBC 5 Meteorologist Pete Sack’s emotional reaction – NBC Chicago

A once-in-a-generation solar eclipse swept across North America on Monday, delighting many people as the moon passed between Earth and the sun while temporarily blocking sunlight.

The spectacle was particularly emotional for some, including NBC 5 Storm Team Meteorologist Pete Sack.

Sack, reporting live from Indianapolis, was moved to tears when the eclipse appeared in full.

NBC Chicago posted its wholesome reaction on social media, and a lot of people noticed. Dozens of people shared comments of support, and some revealed they too were overcome with emotion.

A rare solar eclipse crossed much of the United States on Monday, captivating millions of people in its path, including in Indianapolis. NBC Chicago’s Sandra Torres and meteorologist Pete Sack were among the spectators.

“I thought it was awesome,” Facebook user Kim commented. “When you are passionate about the work you do and an important opportunity presents itself, you need to let your emotions flow.”

“So cool,” said Kika, another user. “It shows how passionate he is about this, these are the great things in (life).”

Another exclaimed: “I love Pete Sack! What an experience.”

Sack wasn’t the only one crying.

“Me too!!” » revealed a Facebook user. “I cried! It’s so beautiful to see.”
