Washington Governor Bob Ferguson activated the Washington National Guard on Friday evening to help the police in search of a man sought in the murder of his three daughters.
“Tonight, I type emergency funds and order Washington National Guard resources to support the search for Travis Decker, suspected of having killed his three daughters,” said Ferguson. “At the request of the County Sheriff Bureau of Chelan, we will provide transport by helicopter for the police during their research in remote regions.”
The local and federal police forces have sought the 32 -year -old air and on the ground after the bodies of her daughters, Olivia Decker, 5, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Paityn Decker, 9, were discovered on Monday. The girls were missing for the first time on June 2 after Decker did not bring them back to their mother as part of their visits ordered by the court.
Authorities think that Decker could travel along or near the Pacific Crest Trail. Decker is wanted for three murder and kidnapping leaders after his three young girls were found dead in a campsite near Leavenworth.

In his press release Friday evening, Ferguson said that the three children’s killings shocked Washington’s state.
“As a parent, my heart goes to Paitact, the mother of Evelyn and Olivia, Whitney, and all those who love them,” he said.
