“Today, commander -in -chief Oleksandr Syrsky reported separately: the front, our presence in the Kursk Oblast and our presence in the Oblast de Belgorod,” said Zelensky.
“We continue to carry out active operations in border areas in enemy territory – and it is absolutely fair. The war must come back where it comes from. “
Zelensky stressed that the main objective of AFU operations remains the defense of the Ukrainian territory, in particular the communities of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
According to the president, Syrsky reported on the activity of the Ukrainian units along the border, in the so-called “gray zone” and directly on Russian territory.
“It is important that thanks to the courage and resilience of our soldiers in the Kursk region, and thanks to the whole Kursk operation, we have managed to reduce pressure on other areas of the front, especially in the Donetsk region,” said Zelensky.
The president added that it was essential to continue to destroy the Russian equipment and the logistics infrastructure used by the Kremlin troops along the front.
