Hostages:

Hamas agreed with the Egyptian proposal for hostage fire. This proposal releases 5 living hostages, in exchange for a ceasefire starting before Eid al-Fitr this Sunday evening, and to Passover (or in certain reports, for 50 days). During the ceasefire, humanitarian aid will flow into Gaza and an unknown number of terrorists will be released from Israeli prisons. In addition, during the ceasefire, there will be conferences to try to provoke a permanent ceasefire and the release of all hostages.

Israel has made a counter-proposition in Hamas, which, according to Ynet, includes a request that 10 living hostages be published. More details remain unknown.

There is an important skepticism that an agreement can be concluded before the start of Eid al-Fitr, but there seems to be a high probability of a kind of agreement before Passover.

Edan Alexander, a hostage of TSAhal who has a double Israeli-American citizenship, should be one of those published in the agreement. The Arab media reports that as a “goodwill gesture” to America, Hamas has given mediators on the current medical state of Edan.

The FDIs have announced that in recent days, in an intelligence operation, the troops located and returned “artifacts” associated with the body of (Manny) Goddard, which was murdered and kidnapped by the PIJ on October 7. After identifying the artifacts of the National Center for Forensic Medicine, the Goddard family was informed. His body is still held by Hamas.

Hamas has published another video of cruel propaganda hostage Elkana Bohbot, which is still detained in Gaza.

Gaza:

The FDI has slightly widened the safety stamp area to include the Al-Jenina district in Rafah, which is adjacent to the Philadelphi corridor. During operations, the troops destroyed Hamas’ infrastructure in the neighborhood.

The FDI has now added a large part of three districts to Rafah, the suburbs of Khan Younis, certain parts of Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun in the buffer zone. This is in accordance with the threat of taking the territory of Gazan every day that the hostages have not returned. The IDF seems to have taken just over 10% Gaza for the buffer zone.

Most of the Battle in Gaza is still limited to air strikes, which are not in force. Friday, the FDI reached 25 terrorist targets in Gaza and a similar amount on the Shabbat. Targets include arms deposits, rocket launchers, military buildings used by terrorists and other terrorist infrastructure. The FDI has also eliminated a number of terrorists in air strikes.

The Shabbat saw two of the first serious incidents in the fighting in Gaza since the resumption of battles. In one case, Hamas pulled three mortars from the TSAhal troops which operated just outside Khan Younis. In another case, an IDF Bulldozer strikes an explosive device. Thank you GD, no soldier was injured in one or the other of the incidents. (Fyi, our collection of funds in progress is for these soldiers.)

After the mortar fire, the FDIs issued an immediate evacuation warning for the Khan Younis area from which it was drawn, then made heavy air strikes targeting the launch site.

A Wall Street Journal report indicates that Israel estimates that Hamas would have 10 to 15% of their arsenal rocket, after starting the war with a stock of 20,000. This leaves around 2,000, of which we see very few people.

Hamas began to repress the demonstrations against them in Gaza (although there are still suspicions of who is behind them). Hamas arrested Uday Nasser Saadi Al-Rabai, a 22-year-old voice in the demonstrations against them, and tortured him to death. During his funeral today, his extended family called to take revenge against Hamas: “We call everyone in the Gaza Strip to mobilize in revenge for the blood of the martyr Uday al-Rubai. Each member of the Qassam brigades (Hamas army) will be a legitimate target for our weapons. ”

News 12 shared information found in a classified document from the Israeli Defense Ministry, written by General de Ghassan Alian, head of cogat (coordinator of government activities in the territories).

The document, written a few days before the attack on October 7, addressed a “Hudna” (long -term truce) proposed by Egypt, at the request of Hamas. The truce has essentially recognized the Hamas terrorist group as the sovereign government of Gaza. The FDI staff chief and BET director of Shin, as well as the Cogat chief all approved the plan, agreeing that he would direct Gaza towards a more stable trajectory. The generals and the director of Shin Bet recommended that Israel send a negotiation team (which they did), assessing that Hamas wanted stability and more war.

It turns out that this proposal was only another Sinwar tactic to put Israel to sleep in a feeling of complacency at the Gaza border, not believing that Hamas would like war.

Judea and Samaria:

Friday evening, the TSAhal troops arrested eight terrorists wanted in the Jenin region during the operations to combat terrorism. A weapon and ammunition found with one of the terrorists were confiscated. Two other terrorists were arrested in the villages of Walaja and Tsourif.

Friday, troops prevented a smuggling attempt by Jordan. They confiscated 12 pistols, 25 cartridges and other weapons. The Jordanian border has long been a problem for Israel, important smugglers a lower weapons in terrorist groups in Judea and Samaria.

Lebanon:

Friday morning, two rockets were launched from Lebanon, activating the sirens in Margaliot, Misgav Am, Kiryat Shmona and Tel Hai. A launch was intercepted and the other failed in Lebanese territory.

The Lebanese army later reported having found the launcher in the Qaaqaait al-Jisr region, near Nabatieh, which is just north of the Litani river. No terrorist group took responsibility for the attack.

In response to the attack, the FDIs emit an evacuation warning for a building in the Dahiyeh district in Beirut, before destroying it in an air strike. The FDI says that the building has stored Hezbollah attack drones, illegally, at the heart of a civilian population. It was the first attack in Beirut since the start of the ceasefire in November.

Other air strikes hit Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including the squad seat, military infrastructure, launchers and targeted eliminations of Hezbollah terrorists who illegally operated in southern Lebanon.

Defense Minister Katz in a statement: “As I said, the fate of Kiryat Shmona is the same as Beirut. If there is no calm in Kiryat Shmona and in the communities of Galileo, the roof of houses in Beirut. Control contract, we will. »»

The residents of these cities had just returned home and now become nervous about the choice. The mayor of Metula, the finger in the north of Israel, targeted a week earlier, said: “This is exactly what we feared. Bruines as they have been in the south for 23 years. We will not allow this and we will not accept it. Do not help, we will also attack the Lebanese army and the State.

Yemen:

The United States is still bombing the Houthis daily after two weeks in a row. Today has seen the heaviest bombardment with 70 strikes on Houthi bastions.

Iran:

The Telegraph reported that Iran had issued a warning: if US President Trump attacks Iran, Tehran will retaliate with strikes on the American and British naval base on Diego Garcia, in the Chagos Islands.

The base currently accommodates at least 5 strategic B-2 bombers, several C-17 and KC-135 cargo aircraft RemoING Tankers. Most of these planes were brought last week, in what the United States does not confirm or not deny preparation to attack or warn to Iran.

Other:

Again, the TSAhal troops caught a drone that billed weapons in Israel via the Egyptian border. The drone turned out to transport 9 rifles.

Israel sends a delegation of 21 research and rescue experts in Thailand after the devastating earthquake. The team will help build an intelligence photo to locate the missing and trapped people, and engineering is working to save them safely.
