Walton Goggins of White Lotus Hospitalized for the snake bite during the shooting

Not all the drama on The white lotus takes place on the screen.

During the shooting of the March 2 episode of the HBO satire, Walton Goggins was forced to deal with his deeply rooted fear of snakes – resulting in some chaos behind the scenes.

“I don’t just have a phobia-it’s like a missing link with regard to snakes,” he said during an appearance on March 5 on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “There is something, like, genetically badly with me when it comes to snakes.”

In a scene from the episode, the character of Walton, Rick, puts himself up and releases several snakes in a snake farm, which led to a dead from her girlfriend Chelsea (played by Aimee Lou Wood). Although the actor was informed of which reptiles was toxic before the cameras were rolling, his main stage partner was not particularly friendly.

“While I retired the snake, he didn’t want to come,” continued the 53 -year -old player. “And so the snake turns around and it bites me. I did not tell this story to anyone.
