The presidential contenders for Poland both claim the victory
The two rivals that challenge the presidential elections of Poland demanded the victory while the exit polls on Sunday evening showed that the race was still too close to call.
“We have won … by a mustache,” said the AFP news agency quoted the pro-EU Mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, as saying to the supporters after the survey showed it closely with 50.3%.
The nationalist historian Karol Nawrocki, who was on 49.7%, told his supporters: “Tonight, we will win. We will win and we will save Poland.”
The forecasts were based on the exit polls carried out in around 500 polling stations and have a margin of error of two percentage points.
The official end result is expected on Monday.

The exit survey in the presidential runoff of Poland is too close to call
While the polls closed in the presidential elections of Poland, the exit surveys were too close to predict which could appear in the lead.
An Ipsos release survey predicted that the liberal mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski won 50.3% of the votes and the conservative historian Karol
Nawrocki won 49.7%.
Trzaskowsk says he won the second round of the elections.
The participation rate seems to be high with at least 54.91% of eligible voters who voted Sunday afternoon Sunday afternoon, according to the Warsaw Electoral Commission.

The two candidates voted
The two presidential hopes during the vote of the runoff of Poland voted on Sunday.
The mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, published a photo with his wife Malgorzata Trzaskowska on X, calling posts to go out and vote.
“The polling stations are open until 9 pm!” He wrote.

Who are the candidates?
PolandPresidential runoff has summed up a radically different ideological choice: A pro-European liberal against a faithful nationalist.
Rafal Trzaskowski is supported by the party of the Civic Coalition governess of the Prime Minister Donald TuskA former president of the European Council. He was elected mayor of Warsaw in 2018 and re -elected in 2024.

The polls open as the vote begins
The polling stations opened through Poland during the closely fought presidential runoff.
He followed a first round on May 18, in which the mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski won with a thin margin like a razor. Trzaskowski earned just over 31% against almost 30% for Karol Nawrocki, a conservative historian. Eleven other candidates have been eliminated.
The vote will end at 9:00 p.m. (1900 GMT) when exit surveys should be released. The end results are expected to be announced on Monday.
