The bomb co-defender trial Old -fashioned Wwe chief Vince McMahon Sexual abuses and sex traffic have agreed to cooperate with and testify to the woman pursuing the professional struggle Mogul and WWE.
Co-defender, John Laurinaitis, also concluded a confidential settlement with the accuser of McMahon, Janel Grant, according to a statement published Wednesday by their representatives. Laurinaitis is a former wrestler and former WWE executive.
A deposit Wednesday in American district court in Connecticut Shows that lawyers for Grant and Laurinaitis have agreed to reject his pursuit for him, because she applies to him with prejudice, which means that he cannot be passed on.
“John Laurinaitis agreed to cooperate and provide evidence in the Janel Grant trial against Vince McMahon and WWE,” the representatives said in the press release obtained by NBC News.
“His agreement to a confidential settlement is a next central step towards the holding of McMahon and responsible WWE and does justice to Ms. Grant after years of sexual abuse and traffic,” said the representatives.
“Mr. Laurinaitis is looking forward to moving on. We cannot provide additional details at the moment.”
CNBC asked for comments from the lawyers for McMahon and WWE.
Grant’s regulation with Laurinaitis comes three weeks after having filed a modified civil complaint against him, McMahon and WWE.
Mcmahon resigned as an executive president of the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings – WWE mother company – in January 2024, after Grant filed his trial.
In January 2025, McMahon agreed to settle the administrative accusations filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission alleging that he had violated federal securities laws by not informing the WWE board of directors which he had signed non-disclosure agreements with two women whom he promised to pay $ 10.5 million to be silent about his sexual conduct. McMahon agreed to pay a civil sanction of $ 400,000 in this case and reimburse WWE $ 1.3 million after granting an order concluding that he had raped a securities law.
McMahon’s wife, the former WWE manager Linda McMahonis currently secretary of the United States department under the couple’s friend, president Donald Trump.
