Villa Park, Laguna Beach, San Juan Hills wins dramatic victories in baseball playoffs – Orange County Register

Alex Lopez marked the winning round during the seventh round on a past ball to give Villa a 8-7 victory against Bishop Amat in the first round of the qualifiers for division 1 of the southern section of the Southern on Thursday at Villa Park High.

Val Lopez and Nate Lewis struck simple consecutive for Villa Park (23-6) to drive the bottom of the seventh round. After the two runners advanced towards a score position, Mgr Amat intentionally walked Jake Nobles to set up a marble force. On the third throw of the batter batter that followed, Alex Lopez, who entered the match as Pinch Runner, scored on the past ball.

El Dorado 5, Ayala 0: Logan Steenburgen launched a bleaching of five strokes for El Dorado against Ayala from Chino Hills.

David Domingo struck a home run for El Dorado (21-8) and Jake Vanderzee went 3 for 3 with a double and three products.

El Dorado will play Crespi in the second round on Tuesday.

Los Alamitos 4, La Mirada 2: Tristan Dalzell and Logan Anderson experienced solid pitch performances for Los Alamitos during a victory on the road against Mirada.

Dalzell, a signatory from the state of Long Beach, granted three strokes, two points and achieved eight sticks to the stick. Anderson removed the side during the seventh round to get the backup.

Tyler Smith and Nate Walker led each point each for Los Alamitos (18-9-2) and Damon Valdez struck a double.

Arcadia 2, Aliso Niguel 1 (11 rounds): Cooper Flemming launched eight excellent sleeves for Aliso Niguel, but Wolverines bats had a hard time in the additional defeat against Arcadia.

Flemming, a signatory from Vanderbilt, granted six strokes and a point with nine stick withdraws in eight rounds. Brandon Schaff succeeded two strokes and led to the only race for Aliso Niguel (22-7). Carson Etnire and Jason Orwat each had two sure.

Los Osos 7, Cypress 5: Cypress scored three points in seventh round, but fell in Los Osos.

Gary Hennessy had two strokes, including one double and rolled in two points. Tyler Vladic went 2 for 4 with an RBI and John Short led to a race. Garret Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a walk for Cypress (18-11).

Orange Lutheran 5, Rancho Cucamonga 0: Tennessee’s signatory, Gary Morse, launched a bleaching at once with six stick withdrawals for Orange Lutheran.

Rock Akahi went 2 for 3 with a double and two points produced for the Lutheran orange (23-6). Josiah Hartshorn added a double and Hamilton Friedberg rolled up with a simple.

Orange Lutheran will play Los Alamitos on the road in the second round.

Division 3:

San Juan Hills 3, El Toro 2: Clay Riggs struck a simple return to the seventh for San Juan Hills in a first round victory over the Sea View League Foe El Toro.

Riggs went 2 for 3 with a double and two points produced for San Juan Hills (15-13). Hudson Doss has succeeded two strokes, including a double and Evan Meeker led to a race.

Drew Nelson did not grant any deserved race in four rounds with six stick withdrawals and Anthony Rasic launched three goalless relief heats.

Anthony Chapuis launched the whole match for El Toro (14-15) and had a double with two marble-produced points. Nacho Gonzales managed two strokes with a double.

FULLERTON 8, Wilson 2: Declan Fitzgerald granted a six -round point with nine stick withdrawals for Fullerton.

Zach Fany went 3 for 4 with a stolen base, three points scored and a product point for Fullerton (19-9-1). The first year student Sammy Chacon went 2 for 3 with a double and two points produced and Malachi Meni went 2 for 4 with a double and a product point. Mason Park and Luke Gonzalez had each of the racing singles.

Fullerton will play Paraclete in the second round on Tuesday.

Costa Mesa 5, Kaiser 3: Costa Mesa scored five points in sixth round in her victory against Kaiser.

Will Clark went 2 for 3 with a stolen base and two products produced. Aiden Comte went 2 for 3 with a marked point and two points produced. Wyatt Rottschafer went 2 for 3, rolled in a race and launched a seventh roundless round to win the backup.

Costa Mesa (23-6) won eight consecutive games and will play San Juan Hills in the second round on Tuesday.

Beckman 13, Temescal Canyon 4: Nick Molina launched five rounds and went 2 for 5 with a double and three points produced for Beckman.

Gus Powell went 3 for 5 with a triple and two points produced and Anton Lee went 2 for 4 with two products. Aaron Duran had a double with two points produced in his only At-Bat and Mark Terry led in three points.

Beckman (16-13) will welcome Cajon in the second round on Tuesday.

Division 5:

Northwood 10, Loara 0: Paul Grossman had a stellar day on the mound and on the plate of Northwood (13-15-1).

Grossman only granted three strokes in five laundry rounds with six stick withdrawals. He went 3 for 4 with a double and three products produced.

Carter Liu went 3 for 4 with three products produced and Joseph Harper led in two points. Koji Yoshimizu achieved two strokes with a triple and a stolen base and Ethan Tsou succeeded two strokes with a triple.

Laguna Hills 6, Tahquitz 2: Nic Park granted a deserved race in six rounds with seven stick withdrawals for Laguna Hills.

Jake Kahl had two doubles and a point produced for the Hawks and Christian Sigaty had a double with a product point. Nate Medina went 2 for 4 with a RBI and Kyler Fitzpatrick had a double with a product point.

Laguna Hills (15-13) will welcome Northwood in the second round on Tuesday.

Kennedy 4, Troy 0: Tyler Onofre launched a bleaching three -strokes for Kennedy with two stick withdrawals.

Anthony Vasquez struck a double with two products produced and Nolan Owens rolled in a race with a double. Anthony Hernandez also led to a race for Kennedy (17-12).

Kennedy will be in Hillcrest de Riverside in the second round on Tuesday.

Division 7:

Garden Grove 4, Carter 1: Rohan Ramos has successfully completed nine sticks to the stick and only granted two strokes for Garden Grove.

Ramos went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Frank Lam and Issac Campuzano each drove in a race and Campuzano had a double.

Garden Grove (20-9) had six stolen bases and drew nine walks.

The Argonauts will play Milken Community in the second round.

Division 9:

Santiago 14, public Safety Academy 2: Santiago had 20 shots, seven additional strokes and nine stolen bases in an eruption victory.

Adrian Lucio went 3 to 4 with two doubles and four products produced. Matthew Rubin went 2 for 3 with a double and four products produced. Isaiah Cortez went 3 for 4 with a double, two interceptions and three products produced and Chris Gallegos went 3 for 3 with a double, two stolen bases and two produced points. Alex Santillano had four stolen bases.

Santiago (8-14) will play the Academy of Academic Excellence in the second round.

SADDLEBACK 17, Ambassador Christian 0: The roadrunners (14-10-1) totaled 20 strokes and marked each round but one.

Andy Aguilar had 3 for 3 with five products produced, Anthony Lopez succeeded four strokes, Joaquin Cornejo reached the base four times and scored four points and Ricardo Marquez rolled in four points.

Saddleback will be at home against Coastal Christian in the second round on Tuesday.
