Vietnam seeks to negotiate to remove all American import rates while putting pressure on the samples announced by President Donald Trump earlier this week, said a senior official on Sunday.
Bui Thanh, one of the many MPs in Vietnam, said during a reception for the American ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper that the government was ready to conclude an agreement to reduce the prices on 0%American products.
He also called for a delay in the 46% deduction of Trump on Vietnamese imports – announced as part of his “Liberation Day” – “prices to create an environment conducive to tax negotiations of both parties,” said a government press release.
In Lam, the leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam, sent a special envoy to the United States to continue the talks on this subject, he said.
Lam would have asked Trump to postpone prices at least 45 days after April 9, according to a letter circulating online.
Friday, Thanh’s declaration confirms the comments made by Trump in a social article Truth.
The president said that he had made a “very productive call” with LAM, who said that Vietnam wanted to take an arrangement to reduce the prices to zero.

Trump’s reference rate rate at 10% came into force on Saturday. Higher rates on certain nations, such as Vietnam, are set for April 9.
