Videos and photos show damage in Barnsdall and Bartlesville after tornadoes
Just a week after Oklahoma was hit by dozens of deadly tornadoes, another round of storms ravaged the state Monday, causing wind damage in the Oklahoma City area and significant damage across the north -eastern Oklahoma.
Several tornadoes were spotted in northeast and central Oklahoma, including one in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, a town about 40 miles north of Tulsa, Oklahoma, that left one person dead and several injured, according to KOTV . The tornado’s devastating effects were also seen in Bartlesville, another rural community located just north of Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported about 30 to 40 homes were damaged in the Barnsdall area, which was also hit by a tornado earlier on April 1, according to the state Department of Emergency Management. Authorities also reported a natural gas leak in Barnsdall.
