The retail giant of the Victoria’s Secret fashion said it was addressed to a “security incident” because its website and online orders are faced with a continuous disturbance.
Victoria’s Secret published the brief statement on his website on Wednesday. The company’s breakdowns began earlier on Monday, as Users have reported Not being able to access the Victoria’s Secret website.
“We immediately promulgated our response protocols, third-party experts are engaged and we have deleted our website and certain precautionary store services,” said a spokesperson for Victoria’s Secret in response to techcrunch requests. The spokesperson has not provided his name or describes the nature of the cybersecurity incident.
“We are working to quickly and safely restore operations,” said the spokesperson. The company said its stores remain open.
Victoria’s Secret closed 7% on the news of the security incident.
