Vanessa Hudgens Gives Birth to First Baby with Husband Cole Tucker

It’s the “beginning of something new” for Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker.

The couple were pictured leaving a Santa Monica, California, hospital with their first baby on Wednesday, which coincided with Tucker’s 28th birthday.

The sex of the newborn and the exact date of birth are unclear.

In photos obtained by Page Six, Hudgens was seen sitting in a wheelchair, cradling her little bundle of joy in her arms, while the baseball star followed closely behind with her bags and belongings.

The actress, 35, wore black sweatpants and a light blue button-down shirt, while Tucker opted for a teal graphic hoodie, black shorts and slides.

Hudgens made sure to wear sunglasses as the trio headed to their car, accompanied by hospital staff.

At one point, she held the baby to her cheek for a tender moment.

Despite the busy day, the new mom still found time to post a tribute on Instagram in honor of the athlete’s big day.

“Happy birthday to my piece of heaven @cotuck 🥳 you make the world brighter just by being you ♥️🤟🏽,” she captioned a cute carousel.

The “High School Musical” star initially kept her pregnancy news under wraps, waiting to reveal her baby bump until she hit the Oscars red carpet in March.

She wore a black Vera Wang dress at the time and gave another glimpse of her budding baby bump in a sheer off-the-shoulder ensemble later in the evening.

Hudgens continued to show off her maternity style in subsequent social media posts, with photos taken during trips to Disneyland and on date nights.

The singer and Tucker revealed their engagement in February 2023 after two years of dating.

Hudgens, who previously dated Austin Butler and her “HSM” co-star Zac Efron, married the Colorado Rockies player in December of that year.

Their ultra-private ceremony took place in Tulum, Mexico.

Ahead of their wedding, the former Disney Channel actress responded to online rumors about a possible pregnancy.

“I’m not pregnant so you can stop,” she wrote in October 2023 after wearing baggy clothes to her bachelorette weekend in Aspen.

When Hudgens confirmed she was expecting five months later, she wasn’t the only “HSM” cast member with a baby on the way.

Ashley Tisdale, who played Sharpay Evans in the franchise, told her Instagram followers that same month that she was expecting her second child.

“We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned sweet snaps of herself and husband Christopher French’s 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter.

Tisdale fans raved about the fact that she and Hudgens, who played Gabriella Montez, started their families at the same time, with one commenting that “the next generation of Wildcats is coming!!!”
