Valentine’s Revenge: This hideaway will bury your ex in cat piss

Valentine’s Day brings up the angry thoughts of an old flame? Consider burying your ex under a pile of smelly kitty litter.
An animal shelter in Ohio offers the opportunity to do so this Valentine’s Day. Kind of.
In return for a $5 (equivalent to around £4.16, AU$7.27) donation, the Animal Friends and Humane Society will write your ex’s name in a litter box and give it to the felines who will then bury them gladly your once special someone with their smelly affair.
The “Do you have a shitty ex?” Fundraising runs through February 12, and the shelter will post a Facebook video showcasing the submissions on Valentine’s Day. “Don’t spend this Valentine’s Day in the junkyard,” the fundraiser says. “Instead, rejoice while making a difference for animals in need.”
The fundraiser’s website shows an image of a cardboard box with litter pushed aside to reveal names like “Andrew”, “Alex” and “Hope” written at the bottom of the box. You can have your ex’s name put in a litter box by donating through Venmo or in person at the shelter in Hamilton, Ohio.
Valentine’s Day revenge seekers can also commemorate the holiday by naming a cockroach after their ex, an offering from some zoos.
