Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo has given viewers a glimpse of his personalized shin guards which didn’t suit many fans.

The 37-year-old was not included in the starting line-up against Burnley but replaced Edison Cavani in the second half.

However, the striker couldn’t help his side find the winner they were hoping for which ended in a 1-1 draw.

But despite the loss, fans were more intrigued by Ronaldo’s personalized shin guards which featured each of his four children, including a large photo of himself next to a Portugal national team crest.

Before Ronaldo arrived at Turf Moor, he was filmed kissing each of his children’s faces on the shin guards – a possible superstition for the Portuguese, believing his children can bring him good luck.

And while it’s a healthy move, some fans pointed out that it’s typical of the superstar to have his own face on his shin guards.
