USWNT made its memorable Sofi Stadium debut with a victory over Brazil

Inglewood-The United States national women’s team scored a goal in each half-time and has retained a 2-0 victory against Brazil on Saturday in front of a 32,303 crowd at the Sofi stadium.

Two natives in southern California have combined for the opening goal.

Alyssa Thompson of Angel City FC sank in the midfield, the former Harvard-Westlake High star beating his defender and sliding a perfect ball through Trinity Rodman. Native of Newport Beach, in his first game with the national team since the Olympic final of last year, did the rest with a right foot finish.

Rodman was embarrassed by a back injury. The objective of the USWNT coach Emma Hayes managed Rodman during this camp.

“For me, he stayed in good health and building minutes where I gradually obtained each match (in game NWSL),” Rodman said on Friday. “The backs are very difficult because you cannot avoid using it every moment of a game or at every moment of your daily life. For me, it is management and training of my back to be in certain positions, so I do not monitor the other muscles to somehow overcompensate.

Rodman was abandoned after 60 minutes. Thompson was begged in the 85th minute. Tara McKeown, from Newbury Park, started at the central back and made the 90 full minutes.

The United States added in its advance in the 66th minute on the successful penalty kick of Lindsey Heaps. Lily Yohannes, who entered the match in the 61st minute, was triggered in the box, leading to the penalty call.
