The aircraft carrier based in San Diego, USS Carl Vinson, seems to have a good time to travel from Indo-Pacific to the Middle East. The US Naval Institute says that the flat plateau has sailed in the Strait of Malacca between Indonesia and Malaysia Friday accompanied by its escort ships.
The nuclear propulsion will soon pass under the lower tip of India and will go to the Red Sea, where another American carrier, the USS Harry S. Truman, works.
On March 21, President Donald Trump ordered the Vinson to join the Truman in the Middle East so that he could remove the missile and drones attacks that Yemen-based Houthis launched against commercial expedition, AP and USNI reported.
The Vinson left San Diego for Indo-Pacific in mid-November and finished various naval exercises with Japan and Korea before being diverted to the Red Sea area.
The aircraft carrier of San Diego USS Carl Vinson turned to the Middle East for possible air strikes against the Houthi rebels
