Usher is a married man after the Grammy-winning R&B star and his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, officially tied the knot.
According to Clark County Clerk’s Office records reviewed by USA TODAY on Monday, the newlyweds said “I do” on Super Bowl Sunday, although it’s unclear what time the wedding took place.
The news comes after a representative from the Clark County Clerk’s Office confirmed to USA TODAY that Usher obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas, where he headlined the Super Bowl halftime show . He and Goicoechea filed their license application Thursday, three days before the Super Bowl.

What we know about Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea’s relationship
This is Usher’s third marriage and Goicoechea’s first. He was previously married to fashion designer Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009. In 2015, he married entertainment executive Grace Harry. They separated in 2018.
Usher shares two children with Goicoechea: Sovereign Bo, 3, and Sir Castrello, 2. He also has two children from his marriage to Foster: Usher “Cinco” V, 16, and Naviyd Ely, 15.
The “Confessions” singer has been linked to Goicoechea since 2019. In an interview with People magazine in November, he described her as his “best friend.”

Before the Super Bowl, Usher also told People that he and Goicoechea had already “committed to living together because of our kids,” so it “wouldn’t be weird if we got married.”

The news continues to be a big week for Usher following his performance at Super Bowl LVIII, where he brought out guests including Alicia Keys and Ludacris. He released his ninth studio album, “Coming Home,” on Feb. 9 ahead of the big game, and he’s set to embark on his Past Present Future tour that kicks off in August.
“After the journey I’ve been on in life over the last six years, I feel like I’m coming back to start,” he previously told USA TODAY. “I am more refreshed and refined because of so many experiences I have been able to have.”
