USA vs Germany Olympic Women’s Basketball: Live Updates, Score as Team USA Completes Group Stage

After a game that was perhaps closer than Team USA would have liked, the women’s national basketball team now turns to Germany for the final game of Pool C. Before beating Belgium 87-74, the United States held a seven-point lead at the 5:45 mark of the fourth quarter. Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson combined for 13 points in the final minutes to help Team USA win its 57th consecutive Olympics.

Two-time WNBA All-Star Satou Sabally leads Team Germany, which has already advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-0 record. Sabally is averaging 25.0 points per game in the tournament so far and scored 33 points in Germany’s win over Canada on Thursday.
