US Treasury to Auction $58 Billion of 3-Year Notes Anytime

The U.S. Treasury will auction $58 billion worth of $3 bills at any hour. The results will be compared to six-month averages of the main components to assess overall demand. The main components and their six-month averages and displays:
- Tail: 6-month average of 0.1 basis points. Previous auction 2.0 basis points
- Auction to cover: 6-month average 2.57X. Previous bid 2.50X
- Direct (a measure of domestic demand): 6-month average of 18.7%. Previous bid 20.4%
- Indirect (a measure of international demand): 6-month average of 63.0%. Previous 60.3%.
- Dealers: 6-month average of 18.3%. Previous bid 19.3%
At the last auction, the high yield stood at 4.548%.
The current 3-year yield is 4.616%.
