US Pummels Cities controlled by Houthi in Yemen in the last wave of air strikes: report

The United States has launched air strikes against Yemeni cities controlled by Houthi activists supported by Iran during the weekend in a renewed effort to beat the terrorist group.

The strikes began on Friday and encountered Saturday. The Saba news agency led by Houthi said that bombs had killed at least one civilian and hurt four others, according to the New York Post. Houthi soldiers often dress in civilian clothes and the group is known to have their number of victims.

The United States has not yet confirmed the strike. The media led by Houthi reported that the bombs struck the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, as well as targets in the governors of Al-Jawf and Saada, all zones under Houthi control, according to the Associated Press.

The strikes occurred one day after the United States degenerated its reprisals against the Houthis by hitting its general command headquarters. The American army published a video of the strike on Friday.

US air strikes have increased more and more the Houthis in recent weeks in order to dissuade the terrorist group from hitting Israel or commercial ships in the Strait of Bab El-Mandeb, which links the Gulf of Aden to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. The Trump administration has increased pressure on the terrorist group, widening targets from missile launch sites struck by former President Joe Biden to include the best Houthi commanders and key military sites.

The Houthis threatened the commercial expedition and launched attacks against Israel in solidarity with Hamas supported by Iran in Gaza. The increase in military action against the United States Houthis has not yet stopped the terrorist group.

On Thursday, the Israeli missile defenses intercepted two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis. Sunday morning, the Israeli defenses once again intercepted a Houthis ballistic missile, the eighth missile of this type from the Jewish state Houthi since March 18, the day when the Israeli soldiers renewed operations against Hamas in Gaza after the cease-fire negotiations.

The Houthis as recently as Thursday also launched attacks on USS Harry S. Truman, an aircraft carrier parked in the Red Sea. The terrorist group has targeted more than 100 commercial ships that have been sailing near Yemen since November 2023.
