Updates of injuries of Seattle Mariners: Robles, Kirby and more

The Seattle Mariners are still expecting MRI results to learn the gravity of the shoulder injury that Victor Robles suffered on Sunday afternoon against the Giants, but the right defender heads for the 10-day injured list, in the meantime, Director General Justin Hollander told journalists on Monday.

Sunday, Robles had radiographies on his shoulder at Oracle Park, which came back negative. He obtained an MRI on MRI MIDAY afternoon, said Hollander.

“We will know what chronology after imagery,” said Hollander. “Everything I would say to you, you would completely become guessing, and I don’t think it’s super additive. So we will know more in the next 24 hours.”

The right defensive player was injured while he jumped into the net in foul -speed territory at full speed to make a spectacular socket in the ninth round of the series final in San Francisco.

The navies recalled the voltiseur Dominic Canzone from Triple-A Tacoma to fill the place of Robles on the list of 26 men. Canzone, who struck 0.196 with eight circuits in 67 big league games last season, struck. 276 with an OPS of .861 and two circuits in eight games with the Rainiers.

Robles has been listed as listing the injured with a dislocated left shoulder.

Hollander also offered updates to several other injured or struck sailors. Here is an overview of everything he said.

• Third basic player Jorge Polanco was out of the alignment for the last two games of the Seattle series in San Francisco during the weekend with pain by his side, not the left knee on which he was operated during the offseason. Hollander said the pain came from a swing at the opening of Friday series in San Francisco. The Switch Hitter was back in the alignment of Monday’s inclination with Astros, hitting second as a designated striker. It strikes. 450 with two circuits and a top of eight points produced in 20 at-bats this season.

“No knee concern beyond us, we take care of him and we make sure to understand that he has undergone an operation of the off-season,” said Hollander, “and he feels good today.”

Hollander added that Polanco had to spend a day off on Saturday, but manager Dan Wilson chose to give him an additional day on Sunday due to the pain.

• There is no clear calendar for Starter George Kirby To come back to this stadium, but he had “well come” after launching an enclosure session of the readers this weekend. Kirby will launch two other arenas this week, then start a “progress of the type of training in the spring”.

Kirby, who was closed in spring training with inflammation of the shoulders, had previously expressed the desire to return at the end of April. Hollander called this “optimistic” chronology, but noted that Kirby strikes the benchmarks that the team has set him.

“We will see how the two (arenas) go this week, then start to go into game situations,” said Hollander. “I do not think it will be like a rise in spring because it was already somehow built at this point in winter and in early spring. But it needs a real progress of play. It will not launch two sleeves and then come in the big leagues. We are really encouraged and we will make sure that we check all the boxes, but it feels good. We are really encouraged.”

Hollander said Kirby would do some work in Arizona and probably do his rehabilitation appearances with Tacoma or High-A Everett, but that time could change these plans.

• Relieve Matt Bash is scheduled to launch a live striker at T-Mobile Park on Wednesday. The team will make a decision that Brassh is ready for a rehabilitation assignment after the session. The right -hander comes back from Tommy John’s surgery, which he suffered last May.

“I can’t tell you how long (the rehabilitation mission will be),” said Hollander. “It depends in a way on what he feels and what we see with our eyes, about data reduction, but very likely to start a final rehabilitation assignment of this week, at the beginning of next week with Tacoma at that time.”

• Troy Taylor lift started an rehabilitation assignment with Tacoma on April 1 and goes again Tuesday or Wednesday. The club will then assess if it is ready to be activated on the list of large leagues.

The right -hander missed all of spring training with a LAT tension. In two appearances with the Rainiers, he withdrew twice twice while granting two points on five strokes in 1 2/3 sleeves.

“Very encouraged by what we see from Troy so far,” said Hollander. “He feels good after each outing, so we will see how it goes during the next outing.”

• Jackson Kowar lift is always on the right track to start a rehabilitation assignment at the end of April or early May. The right -hander is returning from Tommy John surgery last March.

“I would predict that being quite long (rehabilitation passage) has just given the duration where it was released, but at the end of May or early June by projecting itself into activation time,” said Hollander.

• Trevor Gott liftWho signed the M signed for a minor league agreement at the end of February, finished the enclosure part of the lifts of its rehabilitation mission and should start live striker practices this week. Gott, who underwent Tommy John surgery last April, made 30 appearances for Seattle in 2023 before being exchanged in the food in July of this season.
