Update (Saturday afternoon): Michael Cole noted on today’s pre-spectacle that Mysterio is a “playing time decision” for this evening show.
Rey Mysterio may have to be replaced in Wrestlemania after seeing an injury on Friday.
Mysterio teamed up with Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix against American Made on Smackdown, but spent the last minutes of the match being checked by WWE medical staff on the ring of the ring. He was later seen jumping on a foot before being helped at the back.
Our own Bryan Alvarez has provided an update on the stiration of his subscribers on X, writing that Mysterio could be replaced by Dragon Lee in his plan planned against Chad Gable (like Grande Americano) on Wrestlemania night.
Alvarez wrote:
“I am always told for no word on Rey Mysterio, but Dragon Lee is the probable replacement if he cannot fight. They could do Fenix, but my presumption is that El Grande needs to win the first match and they would probably not want to beat Fenix so early.”
Rey Mysterio had to be transported to the back after the match tonight.
