The launcher starting from the brave of Atlanta, Reynaldo López, will miss most of this season due to a cleaning procedure on his right shoulder which he had today in Los Angeles. The good news is that there was no structural damage, based on an update given by the manager of the Braves, Brian Snitker, to journalists before today’s match.
It will be reassessed in 12 weeks, which means that a return before August is unlikely.
Reynaldo Lopez arthroscopic surgery has proven to be cleaning. No structural damage. It will be closed until it is reassessed in July. The Braves did not close the door to the luck he can again be late this season. But the chronology maintains its return at best questionable

López, who was a signing of Braves free agent before the 2024 season, had a remarkable season last year after joining the rotation. He made 25 departures for the brave, displaying 3.5 FWAR, with an MPM of 1.99, withdrawing more than 27% of the strikers he faced.
The Braves reworked his contract during the previous off -season and can keep it with the organization via a team option throughout the 2027 season.
Before last season, López had not started more than nine games in the big leagues since 2019. He had to slip into fourth place in the Braves rotation this season after the return of Spencer Strider.
