United States: strike bogs down at Boeing after rejection of social agreement


Boeing employees rejected on Wednesday the latest draft social agreement which provided for a 35% salary increase over four years, but without restoring the retirement system abolished in 2008. The strike, which paralyzes two crucial factories of the American aircraft manufacturer since mid-September, has been renewed.
