Ukraine on Monday shipped its first shipment of grain since the Russian invasion began, as part of a deal to ease global food shortages.
The ship left the port of Odessa carrying 26,000 tons of corn bound for Tripoli, Lebanon, according to Ukrainian officials and the Turkish government, who helped broker the deal. The Sierra Leone-flagged bulk carrier, the Razoni, is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Tuesday and continue on its way after inspections.
