Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhaylo Podolyak on Sunday criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin’s surprise visit to the port city of Mariupol that Moscow forces captured last year.
“The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime (…) the murderer of thousands of families of Mariupol came to admire the ruins of the city and (his) graves. Cynicism and lack of remorse,” Podolyak said on Twitter .
