Teofimo Lopez is set to try to continue his climb up the welterweight rankings against Sandor Martin tonight.
“The Takeover” had his first fight at 140 pounds in August when he got rid of Pedro Campa, and the 25-year-old will want to see Martin and set up a matchup with Josh Taylor or Jack Catterall.
But his opponent is on a roll and has won his last 11 fights, including beating Jose Felix in April.
The Spaniard is also the reigning European lightweight and will pose a threat to Lopez.
This fight also serves as the WBC junior welterweight title eliminator.
