We have only just recovered from the dramatic climax of the 2021 campaign, but the new Formula 1 season is not far away.
Preparations are already underway ahead of the new campaign as Lewis Hamilton will hopefully join Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Valtteri Bottas, Lando Norris and George Russell on the grid for the first race of the season.

Verstappen won the F1 Drivers’ Championship on the final lap of the final race in Abu Dhabi to beat Mercedes and Hamilton, something he will be keen to build on for the new season.
While the various teams will launch their new maps during the month of February, March is when things will fall into place and be running smoothly for what is sure to be another exciting year of on-track action.
Bahrain F1 Grand Prix: date and time
The Formula 1 campaign will start with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The race weekend is scheduled for Friday March 18 to Sunday March 20.
Specific times have not yet been revealed, but it is expected that practice will take place on Friday, qualifying on Saturday and the race itself taking place on Sunday.
