Barbosa was the most effective fighter in the first, dictating the terms of commitment both standing and on the web. The second was closer, Silva having positive moments earlier and threatening a submission of his back before Barbosa again closes the turn in the upper position. In the third, Silva supported and found success, pursuing some attempts at different submission, only for Barbosa to reverse his way in the guard and closes things in addition.
When the dashboards were collected and totalized, Silva was released forward, winning a revenge measurement after losing against Barbosa during their first meeting. It is a good rebound victory for the Dana White’s Content Series Alum, which went to 5-1 inside the octagon while collecting his first victory since he joined forces with the combatants.
