Belal Muhammad opts for his first defense of the Welter weight title of the UFC when he faces Jack Della Maddalena in the main UFC 315 event in Montreal.
Muhammad, who beat Leon Edwards at the UFC 304 to claim the championship, has not lost battle since January 2019. Della Maddalena, which is undefeated inside the octagon, is difficult for the title for the first time. He entered the fight after a TKO victory in the third round on Gilbert Burns.
In the co-printing event, Valentina Shevchenko puts her title of female fly weight at play against Manon Fiorot. More recently, Shevchenko ended his trilogy against Alexa Grasso with a unanimous victory over Grasso at UFC 306 in September. Fiorot, a first challenger for the UFC title, is also undefeated in the promotion.
Also on the map, the former Coqs weight champion José Aldo faces Aiemann Zahabi and Grasso confronted with the candidate for increasing female flies Natalia Silva.
