STORRS, Conn. (WFSB) – UConn assistant basketball coach Chris Dailey was taken out on a stretcher after passing out before Sunday’s game at the XL Center.
The UConn women’s basketball team was scheduled to face North Carolina State at 1:00 p.m.
UConn’s deputy director of sports communications confirms to Channel 3 that Dailey passed out before the match started.
She was taken off the ground on a stretcher. Dailey was conscious when she left the XL Center and was taken to hospital.
After evaluation at UConn Health, Dailey was released this afternoon.
