Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk: Date, UK start time, undercard and how to follow undisputed title clash this May
The historic fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 will take place next month.
The rivals agreed to meet in the ring earlier this year, but the clash had to be postponed due to an injury suffered by Fury.
The Gypsy King suffered an “unnatural cut” during a training session just two weeks before the fight was scheduled to take place.
This meant that Fury and Usyk’s highly anticipated fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF titles could no longer take place as the injury required stitches.
Usyk’s camp had been under the impression that it would be “several months” before the Brit was ready to reschedule.
However, a new date is in the diary, which is good for all the fans who have been waiting for this fight for so long.

Fury vs Usyk: What was said?
Tony Bellew doesn’t believe Fury can beat Usyk.
The Briton said: “I don’t think anyone beats Oleksandr Usyk.
“I don’t think anyone beats him. I said that a long time ago. I think now (Fury) has a chance to punch, but he’s not a big puncher, to be honest.
“The crazy thing is when Fury was with his uncle, I think he beats him but his style has changed, and now he’s an aggressive counterpuncher and that won’t work against Usyk.
“I think he (Fury) is a brilliant fighter, don’t take anything away from him, what he has done for the heavyweight division is incredible, but I think Oleksandr Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world.”
But Fury is having none of that and is feeling great heading into this undisputed encounter.
Speaking at an impromptu press conference, he said: “Yes, I’m training hard, obviously. I’m in fantastic shape and I’ve got a huge fight coming up.
“There is no room for error, there is no room for bad training or any other problem, so we have to get through it.
“We’re 40 days away, I feel fantastic. I know all the boxers say the same old shit, but actually I’m having a fantastic training camp.
“I have a good team around me and everything is going as planned. No complaints, I work hard.
“I have my secret weapon, my dad at camp this time, so I have my secret weapon there too.
“I have Ty Mitchell, all the boys and girls are at camp, we have a full circus camp so we really can’t do anymore.”
