Tyreek Hill revealed that Miami Dolphis head coach Mike McDaniel called him after the team’s playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year.

The 30-year-old had five catches for 62 yards and a touchdown in Miami’s 26-7 loss in January, but apparently didn’t do enough, according to his head coach, as he faced to McDaniel’s anger at then-Chiefs cornerback L. “Jarius Sneed threw him to the ground on one play.

Recalling McDaniel’s anger at the time, Hill said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast: “The game against Sneed. The Chiefs, everyone sees this game against the Chiefs. When that bastard threw me to the ground? He called me.

“He said to me, ‘Reek, bro, you’re supposed to be the best player in the fucking league, and you have this guy putting his hands on you like that.’

”We’re paying you all this money for what?”’

Now, nearly three months after the Dolphins were eliminated from the NFL playoffs, Hill has committed to working on his overall game this offseason as McDaniel’s criticism lingers in the back of his mind.

“For me, I like that kind of shit. I’m going to listen to this bullshit and I’m going to get over it. This will never happen again in my life, man. Do you feel me?’ » Hill continued.

‘If some motherfucker can’t hold me accountable, I feel like I’m going to get better, you know what I’m saying? Obviously the coach can bypass that, you know what I’m saying, and just say “Ah, he’ll be better off.”

“But if he doesn’t say anything, like the other guys in the locker room, they’re going to take it as, ‘Oh, if Reek can do it, I can do it.’ “And it doesn’t make the team any better,” Hill added.

Another top receiver could join the Dolphins before the fall to reduce the workload on Hill, as Odell Beckham Jr. “toured” the team’s facility last month, according to multiple reports.

Beckham Jr., however, has yet to sign a contract with Miami, despite interest being shown. The 31-year-old wide receiver is currently a free agent following his release from the Baltimore Ravens.+

Hill is currently facing a lawsuit with a social media influencer for allegedly breaking her leg after charging at her during a “fun” soccer game at his Miami mansion.
