Tyler Boyd is from Pittsburgh. He played university football in Pitt. After nine NFL seasons, he would like to continue his professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He expressed his interest in signing with the Steelers a year ago, after eight seasons with the Bengals. Rather, he landed with the Titans.
Boyd once again knows that he would like to go home.
“I’m really cool with (coach Mike) Tomlin,” said Boyd. “He was always a good person … When I was in Pitt, we had a good relationship. After training, I was walking there, that I would speak to (Antonio Brown) and these guys, spoke to Tomlin, and he had just chosen different things, where I could improve and get advice. I think we had excellent friendship.”
Steelers could use another veteran receiver. They did not add one since George Pickens’ trade in Cowboys in May.
Boyd experienced consecutive seasons of 1,000 yards in 2018-2019. In 16 games last year with the Titans, he had only 39 catches for 390 yards.
The new arrivals for 2025 are DK Metcalf and Robert Woods. Calvin Austin III should intensify. And the Steelers hope to get something / anything from 2024, Roman Wilson, Roman Wilson in his second season.
