PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Two Arab men have been arrested in connection with a storage unit burglary that occurred in Priceville.
On Friday around 7:10 a.m., officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle located at a mini-storage facility in the 1700 block of S. Bethel Rd.
Priceville police said the vehicle involved matched the description of a vehicle linked to a recent burglary of a storage unit in the area reported on Oct. 9.
Upon arrival, officers arrested Bobby Joe Sterling Jr., 41, of Arab, and Rodney Keith Watwood, 49, of Arab.
After investigating the matter further, officers learned that one of the storage units had been forced open and that Sterling and Watwood had taken the items inside.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail.
Bobby Joe Sterling Jr. was charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. He posted a $70,000 bond.
Rodney Keith Watwood was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, using a false identity to obstruct justice and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $105,300 bond.
Additionally, an arrest warrant for third-degree burglary will be sought for Sterling in connection with the previous storage unit burglary reported on October 9.
