Two men were charged after being arrested inside the MCG after Thursday evening’s shock between Collingwood and Carlton when they were found carrying several loaded firearms.

After the match, Victoria police published a statement, confirming that a 21 -year -old man from Roxburgh Park and a 37 -year -old Broadmeadows man were arrested and placed in police custody.

Victoria police said: “Police were called by MCG security to help two men refusing to leave the place because of their behavior.
“Consequently, the police arrested two men and during a search, it is alleged that two firearms were located on each of these men.”
