Two people were killed in a collision of a single vehicle on a road transition ramp in San Diego this weekend, the authorities announced.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday when a Dodge Challenger was moving east on route 94 of the State towards the transition from Interstate 15 to the northern direction and diverted the ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officials said the car was in the air, hit an air panel and stopped on its roof in the tracks in west on SR-94.
The driver and the passenger died on the scene. Their names were not immediately available
According to the CHP, the debris of the accident struck another vehicle which led to minor damage, but no additional injury has been reported.
We did not know what prompted the vehicle to lose control, officials said.
