Two fans pulled out of US Open quarter-final match after haircut prank at Arthur Ashe Stadium

NEW YORK — There was a pretty tricky situation at the US Open on Tuesday night.

The two men’s stay in the seats at Arthur Ashe Stadium was, uh, cut short after one buzzed the other’s head right there in the stands as Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov played out their quarter-final.

They had clippers and the kind of cape a barber usually uses to keep a client clean.

Soon, social media users were all abuzz with how a YouTuber known for his pranks pulled off this one.

Tournament security pulled the two out of the game.

“When someone saw him, security went to the two individuals. They were escorted out of their seats and then off the court to disrupt play,” said U.S. Tennis Association Brendan McIntyre, adding, “There’s a first time for everything.”
